God of all Creation

{The Trinity}

There is one God, and within the one there is what is known as the “Trinity”.

The “Trinity” expresses the belief that God is one being made up of three distinct persons who exist in co-equal essence and co-eternal communion as the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. All three are a tri-unity, inhabiting one another and working together to accomplish Gods work.

  1. The Father (Romans 1:7)
  2. The Son (Hebrews 1:8)
  3. The Holy Spirit ( Acts 5:3-4)

The Father is the mover and planner. The Son is the activator, and The Holy Spirit is the messenger between God and man. The Father put the plan into motion. The Son seen the plan through with his blood shed, and The Holy Spirit is the person that moves the universe and in man to do the work of The Father. Without the Spirit we would never be able to understand God.

Therefore the “Trinity” has different ministries for our needs. The Father controls our lives, The Son takes our burdens and saves us. The Holy Spirit teaches us, convicts us, and helps us during prayer.

{Lets dig into a little more of each “person”}

God The Father:

  • Father of all creation (Malachi 2:10, Acts 17:29, Hebrews 12:9, James 1:17)
  • Father of Israel (Exodus 4:22)
  • Father of all Believers (John 1:12)
  • Father of all mankind (Acts 17:22-31)

We should see the father as the creator, he is the I AM.

God The Son:

  • Son of man (Luke 6:22)
  • Son of God (Mark 1:1)
  • Son of Mary (Matthew 1:20-21)
  • Son of David (Isaiah 9:6-7, Luke 1:30-33)

We as Christians see the Son as our savior, our brother, our example of Holy living, and our reason for serving. He was the sacrificial lamb, who’s blood washed clean.

God The Holy Spirit:

  • Spirit of God (12:28)
  • Spirit of the Lord (Luke 4:18)
  • Spirit of truth (John 14:17, John 15:26)

The spirit is sent to us to guide us, teach us, convict us, and communicate for us.

Therefore the “Trinity” is very important, so we Christians can know who our God is and understand how HE works.

God is the Father. God is the Son. God is the Holy Spirit.

Although the term “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, its meaning is clearly expressed all through the Bible. God is presented as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

He is not three gods, but three persons in the one and only God. The Scriptures present the Father as the source of creation, the giver of life, and God of all the universe. The Son (Jesus Christ) is seen as the image of the invisible God, the exact representation of his being and nature, and the Messiah. The Spirit is God in action, which we received at time of salvation.

In the here and now, let love invade!
Let the church live loud, our God we’ll say
We believe, we believe!
And the gates of hell will not prevail!
For the power of God, has torn the veil!
Now we know Your love will never fail!
We believe, we believe!
